"We found Megan Freitas through a recommendation for tutoring support from a neuropsychologist. My then 13 year old daughter had just been diagnosed with dysgraphia. Upon meeting with Megan, not only did I see the basic writing issues (i.e. spelling, spacing, and punctuation) improve, but after six months I was blown away by the depth and complexity of my daughter's writing. I hadn't realized that, not only is Megan adept at working with learning disorders, she is an incredible writing teacher in general. Knowing that college essay writing was just around the corner, I signed up my older daughter to work with her as well. She too has loved and benefited from meeting with Megan. When asked what they like about their sessions with her, my girls have said that she is patient, kind, keeps them accountable, doesn't hesitate to kindly give the constructive criticism needed to make them better writers, is accommodating and willing to listen to their writing desires and opinions, is professional and knowledgable, and is good at both content and structure editing as well as micro editing such as addressing grammar, word choice, and punctuation. I am pleased to report that my eldest's college essays are coming along beautifully and that these days my youngest talks about dysgraphia as something she had in the past. I am thrilled that she is a confident and competent writer and I one hundred percent credit Megan with that transformation."
